可千萬不要張口就說：

I have many work experiences（×）

如果你遇到很嚴謹的HR

很可能連第一輪面試都過不去

那怎麽表達才正確呢？

01

 

工作“經(jīng)驗”英語表達(dá)

 

爲什麽說many work experiences是錯的呢？

 

因爲在中文裏，經驗和經曆是兩個不同的詞，但英語中就不一樣瞭，這兩個詞都要用experience 表達，這就很容易造成誤解！

 

 

 

01、experience 經驗

 

我們先瞭(le)解 experience 作爲“經(jīng)驗”的用法。

 

 

大家都知道，經(jīng)驗沒(méi)法用數字衡量，因此我們不能按中文思路把"很多經(jīng)驗"加s。

 

正確用法是：work experience

 

但直接講"I have many work experience."雖然沒有錯(cuò)，卻感覺話沒說完
，所以要用in...把意思表達(dá)完整。

 

🌰舉個例子 

I have a lot of work experience in marketing.

我在市場(chǎng)營銷方面有很多經(jīng)驗。

 

另外，除瞭(le)當工作經驗之外，英國人說的work experience經常指“實習”，搭配的動詞(cí)是do。

 

🌰舉個例子 

 

She is doing work experience in a hospital to gain insight into the medical field.

她正在一家醫院做實習，以瞭解醫療領域。

 

 

02、experience 經曆

 

我們的經曆是一段一段可以數出來的，所以
，經曆是可數，可以加“s”。

 

 

 

🌰舉個例子 

① These were horrifying experiences.

這些都是令人震驚的經曆。

② I have experience of studying abroad.

我有留學經曆。

 

experience表經曆時，通常和 of 或 with 連用。大家分不清的話，也可以通過這個來區分。

 

 

那麽，“沒經驗”用英語要怎麽說？有的小夥伴可能會想，這還不簡單！不就是I have no experience嗎 

 

雖然這麽說也沒錯，但卻不太地道，跟著C姐往下看~

“沒經(jīng)驗”的英語表達(dá)

 

 

“I have no experience.”這句話本身沒有錯，但太直接的回答會顯得很奇怪。

 

在很多正式場合，尤其是面試時，我們可以把話說的更委婉一些來表達“我不在行，我懂得不多”的意思。

 

① I am afraid I don t know much about that.

恐怕我對這方面懂得還不多。

②I am not an expert in/on/at ……

在……方面我不是專家，沒什麽經驗。

③To be honest, I am not an expert in the field.

坦白來說，這一領域我並不是專家
。

④I am not really an expert in this area.

在這方面，我真的沒什麽經驗。

01、自我介紹部分

 

Can you give us a brief introduction of yourself?

給我們做個簡單的自我介紹吧？

 

I have come at your invitation for an interview.

我是應約來面試的。

 

I'm Steve, I come from New York.

我叫史蒂夫，來自紐約
。

 

I was born on August 1st, 1989.

我出生於1989年8月1日。

 

My major is English.

我主修英語專業。

 

I graduated from Columbia with a degree in law.

我畢(bì)業於(yú)哥倫比亞大學法律系。

 

02、自我評價以及優缺點

 

I have the ability to stay focused in stressful situations.

我不怕困難。

 

I can learn and grow in my field.

我學習能力強(qiáng)，又成長(zhǎng)快。

 

I can be counted on when the going gets tough.

共度難關(guān)，我是值得信賴(lài)的。

 

My strength is my flexibility to handle change.

我的優點(diǎn)就是能夠靈活應對(duì)突發事件。

 

One of my biggest strengths is my communication skills.

我最大的優點(diǎn)就是溝(gōu)通技巧。

 

還有一句話，多少有點(diǎn)“凡爾賽”瞭(le)，但是還是比較實用的，介紹給大家“Sometimes I'm reserved and enjoy staying and thinking all by myself.” 

 

這句話的意思是“有時候我沉默寡言，喜歡獨處(chù)和思考” ，聽起來像是自己的缺點，但實則是在變(biàn)相的誇獎自己。

 

但是你要是覺得不夠還可以跟上一句“I think this may be my weakness.”，意思是“我覺得這可能是我的缺點”。
