01. let one's guard down

英語解釋(shì)爲(wèi)to surprise someone by doing something that ，
they are not ready to deal with。
例：
To be honest, the question caught me off guard.
說實話(huà)，這個(gè)問題讓我猝不及防。
It's fine. It just kinda caught me off guard。

2.catch (one) on the hop 措手不及
I'm afraid you've caught me on the hop -
I wasn't expecting you until next week.

me on the hop right now.
