首先，大家看一下Live的英文解釋(shì)：To have a home in a specified place.

因而 Live in hotel 的含義(yì)是長(zhǎng)期住酒店，
隻住幾(jǐ)天不可以說(shuō) Live in hotel.
正確(què)的說法應該(gāi)是：Stay at a hotel 在酒店暫住。
例句：
I will stay at the Hilton hotel during my trip.
旅行期間我會住希爾(ěr)頓(dùn)酒店。
2、住外面不是 Live outside
首先，我們(men)所說(shuō)的住在外面的意思，
就是沒和父母住一起 ，
強調的是我自己住 ，
所以住外面可以說(shuō)：I live by myself 或 I live on my own。
如果你對(duì)老外說(shuō) I live outside，
對(duì)方大概會(huì)誤以爲你住在野外，
會覺得你是個(gè)露營愛(ài)好者。
例句：
I live by myself and the rent really kills me!
我住外面，租金真是要瞭(le)我的命！
3、我來(lái)找朋友不是 Find someone
西方國家，當(dāng)海關問你來幹(gàn)什麽，
如果你想表達(dá)去找朋友或者親(qīn)戚，
千萬(wàn)别說(shuō)Find my friend! Find有尋找失蹤人口的含義，
正確(què)的英文表達(dá)是：Visit my friend / relative = 拜訪朋友/親戚
例句：
I came here to visit my friend.
我來(lái)這裏拜訪(fǎng)我的朋友 。
