01.體(tǐ)檢(jiǎn) 不是 body check
“體檢” 的英語不是 body check，"body" 在特定語境下還(hái)有“屍體”的意思 ，讓人誤解就不好瞭(le)！
“體檢” 的正確(què)英文表達(dá)是 checkup，physical examination 或 medical examination。
I had to go back for my checkup; they'd lost my X-rays.
我得回去再做一次體檢(jiǎn)。他們把我的X光片弄丢瞭(le)。

02.crow's feet 不是 烏(wū)鴉腳(jiǎo)
單(dān)獨一個英語單(dān)詞(cí) crow 是烏鴉的意思，但是用在這個短語裏是“魚尾紋，眼角皺紋”的意思。
Aging eyes bring more than crow's feet and wrinkles.
眼睛老化帶(dài)來(lái)的不止是魚尾紋和皺紋。
She had a maze of crow's feet when she smiled.

03.雙(shuāng)人房 不是 Double room
Double room 是指 A room for two persons with a double bed (兩個(gè)人住並(bìng)配有一個(gè)雙人床的房間)，就是我們常說的：大床房。
Twin room 則是指 A room with two beds for two people (兩個人住並(bìng)配有兩張單(dān)人床的房間)，就是我們常說的：雙人房。
04.That's rich 不是 富有
“rich”的本意是表示富有的 ，但是。“rich”在口語裏還有截然不同的含義， “that’s rich”這個表達在什麽時候用比較合适呢？當你被别人批評，而批評你的這個人自己也犯瞭(le)這個錯(cuò)誤 ，你覺得這個批評簡直可笑，毫無道理的時候，就可以用“that's rich”來表達你的不滿啦。
