每天一個雞蛋,想必是很多小夥伴們必備(bèi)的營養早餐之一,那麽“煮蛋”,“炒蛋”還有“蛋白”,“蛋黃”等都該怎麽用英語表達呢?所有跟雞蛋有關的單詞(cí)全在今天的文章裏!
首先我們來認識一下雞(jī)蛋的各個(gè)部分
1、eggshell蛋殼
eggshell (noun):
the thin, hard, outer layer of an egg.
薄而硬的雞蛋外層
例:
I peeled the eggshell from the hard-boiled egg.
我把煮熟的雞蛋剝瞭殼。
2、yolk /jəʊk/ 蛋黃yolk (noun):
the round yellow part in the middle of an egg.
雞蛋中間圓形的黃色部分
例::I like my eggs lightly cooked so that the yolk is still runny.
我喜歡(huān)不把雞蛋熟透,這樣蛋黃就還(hái)是稀的。
(Notice how the L is silent in the word yolk 注意在單(dān)詞(cí)“yolk”中L是不發音的)
3、Egg white 蛋白
egg white (noun):
the clear liquid of an egg. When it is cooked, it turns white.
雞蛋的透明液體部分。煮熟後(hòu)變(biàn)成白色。
例:
Meringue is a sweet ingredient made from whipped egg white and sugar.
蛋白霜是一種由攪(jiǎo)打過(guò)的蛋白和糖制成的甜味配料。

4、Hard-boiled 煮雞(jī)蛋(老的)
hard-boiled (adjective):
to boil an egg until the egg white and the yolk become solid.
煮一個(gè)雞蛋,直到蛋清和蛋黃變(biàn)成固體
例:
I made some hard-boiled eggs for our picnic.
我爲我們的野餐做瞭(le)一些煮雞(jī)蛋。
5、Scrambled eggs 炒雞(jī)蛋
scrambled egg(s) (noun):
a dish prepared by mixing the white and yellow parts of an egg together while heating them.
把雞(jī)蛋的白色和黃(huáng)色部分混合在一起加熱而成的菜
如果想要炒的較(jiào)軟(ruǎn)一些就是soft scrambled eggs,熟透的就是hard scrambled eggs
例:
I usually have scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast on Sundays.
