Jack of all trades, master of none. Jack是一個(gè)泛指 ，類(lèi)似中文裏的“張三” 起初,這個(gè)俚語隻有前半句“Jack of all trades”形容某人是“萬(wàn)事通、萬(wàn)金油、多面手” 但是後來在後面加瞭(le)句“master of none”，整句話就變(biàn)成負面的意思 。用來形容一個人什麽事情都懂一點，但卻沒有一樣精通 。
舉個例子： In terms of subject area, I am unabashedly jack of all trades, master of none. 就學(xué)科領(lǐng)域而言，我是不折不扣的 "博而不精的人"。
