slip /slɪp/
slip的意思是“滑”，通常就是指 腳(jiǎo)滑 ，
滑倒之類的，而當(dāng)它搭配其他詞(cí)語 ，
也可以表示某個東西偏離瞭(le)正確(què)的位置，
造成瞭某種錯誤 ，
就如a slip of the tongue，就可以理解爲(wèi)舌頭(tóu)打滑，
舌頭沒(méi)有在它本該(gāi)在的位置 ，
而導緻瞭說話說錯瞭。

04. misspeak
to say something ，
that is not correct, by mistake
講錯話
misspeak和“口誤(wù)”還(hái)不太一樣 ，
口誤是知道正確(què)的說(shuō)法 ，
也準備這麽說，
但是不小心說錯瞭，
而說錯(cuò)話則有可能是有意的說瞭(le)某些話，
但是這些話在當(dāng)下並(bìng)不是合适的。
例：
The Secretary denied lying,
but said that he misspoke.
秘書不承認說謊，
而是說自己說錯瞭。
