搖下車窗
如果是打開家裏的窗戶 ，open the window這個說法絕對(duì)沒問題 ，但打開車(chē)窗不能這麽翻譯 。
因爲原先車(chē)窗都是需要我們手動(dòng)搖下來，車(chē)上有相應的按鈕或把手，不像家裏門窗可以直接用手拉開，而是上下移動(dòng)開合 。所以開關車(chē)窗不應該說open和close，而要用roll。
roll sth up (轉動把手)關閉
roll up the window 搖上車(chē)窗;關(guān)上車(chē)窗
roll sth down 搖開;旋開
roll down the window (轉動(dòng)把手)搖下車(chē)窗;打開車(chē)窗
例：
Could you roll down the window?I feel a little dizzy.
你能開下車(chē)窗嗎?我現在有點(diǎn)頭暈。
開窗是爲瞭(le)透氣，促進(jìn)空氣流通，我想出去透氣是I want to breathe fresh air嗎?這樣翻譯就太啰嗦瞭(le) 。
其實，透氣的英文表達(dá)非常簡單(dān)，常用的有下面幾種。
need some air/get some air 透透氣
想去透氣直接用need some air和get some air就可以瞭(le)，這也是最常見的表達(dá) 。
breathable [ˈbriːðəbl] 透氣的
多形容可以透氣(qì)的衣服布料。
ventilate [ˈventɪleɪt] 通風;通氣
表示讓房間(jiān)等建築物通風(fēng) ，well-ventilated room就是通風(fēng)良好的房間(jiān)。
let in some air 透透氣
let in是允許進(jìn)入的意思，let in some air就是讓空氣進(jìn)來(lái) ，也就是透氣。
例：
The boring task makes me drowsy, maybe I need some air.
無聊的工作任務讓我昏昏欲睡 ，也許我得去透透氣(qì)瞭(le) 。
倒車，讓汽車倒著走
例：
See if you can back up a bit further.
看看你能不能再往後(hòu)退一點(diǎn)。
扣好安全帶
例：
Please buckle up now; we re about to land.現在請系好安全帶;我們要著(zhe)陸瞭(le)。
擋路
例：
A second policeman cut off his escape.
另一個警察擋(dǎng)住瞭(le)他的逃跑路線。
伸出車外做某事
例 ：
He was killed in a drive-by shooting.
他死於汽車槍擊。
加油；把汽油加到汽車(chē)裏(lǐ)，直到完全裝滿爲止
例：
He filled up the tank with petrol.
他給汽油箱加滿瞭油。
下車
例：
You must not get out of the car when it is in motion.
行駛中，請勿下車。
把…開到路邊(biān)；開到路邊(biān)；靠邊(biān)停車(chē)
例 ：
She saw the ambulance coming up behind her and pulled over.
她看到救護車從後面開過來，就把車停在瞭(le)路邊(biān)。
減速
例：
Slow down! You’re driving too fast.
慢點 你開太快瞭。
移到路邊
例：
We pulled in at the side of the road.
我們把車停在路邊。
