那麽,問題來瞭
"看手機(jī)"的"看",
是see,look還(hái)是watch?
都不對!爲什麽?
首先我們來區分一下這幾個“看”
See means to notice or become aware of (someone or something) by using your eyes.
See的意思是用眼睛注意到或意識(shí)到(某人或某物)。
For example:
I saw you waving at me.
我看見你朝我揮手。
I see a ship on the horizon.
我看見(jiàn)地平線上有一艘輪(lún)船。
Of note, to see can also mean to understand (e.g., I see what you mean).
注意，see也可以表示理解(比方說 ，我知道你說的是什麽(me)意思瞭(le)。)
The verb to look means to deliberately apply the ability to see. In other words, it means to make a conscious effort to see something. To look is usually followed by at or for.
動詞(cí)“look”的意思是有意識地運用“see”的能力。換句話說，它的意思是付出努力或注意力的去看某物。一般後邊(biān)跟at或者for。
For example:
Look at the beading on her wedding dress.
看她結(jié)婚禮(lǐ)服上的珠飾。
I am looking for my car keys.
我在找我的車鑰匙。(需要用眼睛看著找)。
Watch means to look at (someone or something) for an amount of time and pay attention to what is happening.
watch的意思是看(某人或某事)一段時間(jiān)，注意正在發(fā)生的事情
For example:
The policemen watched their suspect for half an hour.
警察看(管)著(zhe)他們的嫌疑犯半小時瞭(le)。
I watch the news every morning before work.
我每天早晨上班前都會(huì)看新聞(wén)。
❖see更側(cè)重於(yú)我沒眼睛有沒有看東西的能力，可不可以看到東西
❖look則是視(shì)線(xiàn)上的注目的“看”
❖watch區别更大些，可以理解爲“觀(guān)看”，需要看一段時間(jiān)
但是你細想一下
我們(men)說的“看”手機(jī)
真的就隻是“看”著(zhe)麽(me)?
“看”手機(jī)是以下幾(jǐ)種情況
01. see the phone
=看到手機(本身)
比如
Have you seen my phone ?
你看到我的手機瞭嗎?
02. look the phone
=把目光放到手機(jī)上,快看那個(gè)手機(jī)
(一般是說(shuō)look at)
用來引起别人的注意
比如
Look at the phone! It has a foldable screen.
快看那個(gè)手機 ，居然是折疊(dié)屏的!
03. watch the phone
是錯的!沒有這種說法!
因爲
watch其實表示看"有移動或變(biàn)化的東(dōng)西"
比如
watch the clock=看表
(表針是移動的)
watch TV=看電視
(電視裏的畫面是動态的)
你可以說 check the phone ，表達下意識的查看手機,有沒有新消息~
或者你也可以說 ，look through the phone，look through 意爲查看 ，翻閱，look through the phone 就是翻看手機。
舉個栗子~
Don't check / look through your phone at the dinner table.
别老在吃飯(fàn)的時候看手機(jī)。
